Infection Control

Annual Infection Control Statement for 2019

Following the Risk Assessment and Audit carried out in December last year, the Practice can be proud of the high standards of Infection Control which members of the primary healthcare team maintain.

There have been no Infection Control-related incidents reported over the last 12 months.

Staff at the Practice have carried out refresher training in clinical waste disposal and handwashing techniques in the past twelve months. Any major issues will be discussed at an appropriate clinical meeting.

Where Infection Control issues have been identified in the Risk Assessment and Audit, these will be addressed in our Infection Control Action Plan.

Our practice is inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to ensure we are meeting essential standards of quality and safety.
