Welcome to St Wulfstan Surgery
June Newsletter Out!!!
Named after St Wulfstan, who was born in Long Itchington, and rose to become Archbishop of Worcester, we opened in 2001 specifically to offer a convenient NHS GP practice with an emphasis on lots of available appointments and a courteous service. We have succeeded in consistently having very high satisfaction rates in all our surveys, both local and national, with very good access to appointments for both doctors and nurses. Receptionists receive particular praise. We do our best to see people on time. Receptionists don't quiz patients on why they want appointments and telephones are answered by people - not machines.
Go to NHS Choices to compare practices at NHSLocal and search on CV47 or go to NHSChoices for what people think of us (and lots more).

What to do in an emergency? A simple Guide to the NHS
Telephone appointments: Please remember that we cannot examine you over the telephone. If there is the slightest possibility that you will need to be examined, please make a face-to-face appointment. A telephone appointment is still an appointment and still takes time.
Temporary Patients and Returning University Students: Please note that if you are not registered with us, we will only deal with problems that are really urgent. Students should see their own GP where they are registered - university GP surgeries are often branch surgeries of other bigger practices. They do not shut for holidays (they are not allowed to) and they should still see you. Pharmacists can advise on many minor illnesses or there is the walk-in centre in Rugby or Coventry. For problems that can wait, you should see your own GP. Click here to find out why
